URC1240, URC1280: How do I program my code on the Contour remote?

To program the basic code on your Contour remote, please follow the instructions mentioned below:

1. Press the device key (e.g. TV key) corresponding to the device you wish to control (e.g. television).
2. Press and hold down the SETUP key until the red LED underneath the POWER key blinks twice (the red LED will blink once then twice).
3. Enter the four-digit device code using the number keys. The red LED should blink twice.
