URC1635: How can I control the AV Key when I have programmed both TV and Satellite on my SKY Q Replacement remote?

Commonly the AV key is used to select the input on the TV and most TVs use a menu to select from a list of inputs. When the AV key is pressed on the SKY Q Replacement Remote, and a TV and STB have been set up by code, the Menu Up, Down, Left, Right and OK keys will temporarily control the TV. If the OK key is pressed, or no key is pressed for ten seconds, these keys will revert to controlling the set-top box again.

The AV-feature is enabled as standard as soon as an STB and a TV are set up.

If you do not require the AV-feature, you can disable it as following:

  1. Press and hold TV POWER + STB POWER until the LED blinks twice.
  2. Press and release the AV key.

The LED will blink 4 times, indicating it has been disabled. To re-enable, repeat this procedure and the LED will blink twice.
