  • I cannot get a picture on my second TV. Make sure that the TRANSMITTER and RECEIVER are switched ON and that both are set to the same channel.
    Aim the flat antenna's in this way, that they point to each other.   
    Do not leave them flat on the transmitter and/or reiceiver

    Select EXT or AV on second TV. Make sure that all cables are connected correctly.
    Check that the video source (satellite receiver, video recorder, camcorder, DVD player, digital or analogue Set-Top Box or Pay-TV decoder box) is switched on and to use the correct SCART connector (e.g. EXT1 or EXT2) of the video source (check manual of video source). Read more

  • Using a remote control, I cannot control the video source from the second TV. Aim the remote control directly at the RECEIVER unit and ensure that there are no obstacles in between. Ensure that there is no other wireless device (wireless headphones, speakers, RF control signals) interfering with the remote control. Make sure that TRANSMITTER and RECEIVER are more than 16 ft (5 m) apart.

    Make sure to use the remote control of the video source.

    Reposition the IR Eye on the video source OR place the IR Eye 2 - 4 inch (5 - 10 cm) in front of the video source. Read more

  • My Smart HDMI Switch (SV1630) does not automatically detect the last device turned on – why? Turn off the device currently watched and turn on the device you want to operate. Does it work?
    There are few devices that still output a video signal when in standby. In certain situations the Smart HDMI switch will not recognize the device as off. When so please switch manually to the correct input.

  • I receive a clear image and sound, but my remote does not work. What can I do? Please ensure the IR receiver is correctly plugged into the IR IN socket of the RECEIVER, using the 3.5mm jack.
    The IR Transmitter should be plugged into the IR OUT socket of the TRANSMITTER, using the 2.5mm jack.

    Please remove the tape cover from both IRs. For the IR Receiver and Transmitter, make sure there is a clear line of sight.
