  • I’m no longer getting one or more channels, that I used to receive before. What happened?

    These channels have been affected by a recent auction by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and have been forced to broadcast on a different frequency.

    Why did this happen?

    The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has recently held an auction to provide more communication channels for wireless broadband services. As a result, nearly 1,000 TV stations will be forced to either go off air or change their frequencies.

    What do I need to do?

  • How do I tune in my channels after I have installed the antenna? Make sure you do perform a channel scan on your TV or set-top box after you plugged in and tuned you antenna. Each time you rotate the antenna or re-position the antenna, you must re-scan for channels on your TV.

    The way this is done varies per TV brand, so please check the user manual of your TV model or contact your TV manufacturer for the correct instructions.

    Below you will find the generic steps to follow to perform a channel search:
    • Press MENU button on your remote and look for something like SCAN, SETUP or INSTALL.

    • Choose CHANNEL SCAN. This may also be called AUTO PROGRAM, AUTO TUNING, AUTO SCAN, AUTO SEARCH or CHANNEL SEARCH.

  • I attached my Indoor Antenna to the TV but I do not see any image Make sure that you have the USB cable attached directly into a USB port of your TV, or alternatively to the power adapter, and make sure it is plugged firmly into any standard 120V wall outlet.

    The best placement for your antenna depends on many factors. However a general rule of thumb is to position the antenna as high as possible and close to a window and facing the direction of the TV towers. If you are not sure in which direction your TV towers are, please check www.channelchecker.com and it will tell you in 3 simple steps.

    After setting up your antenna you must perform a channel scan on your TV to see what channels you can receive. Set your tuner mode of the TV to ANTENNA first, then choose CHANNEL SCAN (may be called AUTO PROGRAM, AUTO SCAN, AUTO TUNING or CHANNEL SEARCH in the setup menu of your TV). Please refer to the user manual of your TV for instructions how to perform a channel scan.
