FAQs

  • What do I have to do before I start programming my One For All remote?

To select the region, there will be a switch inside the battery door with 6 positions to represent the regions. The regions are:

    1- UK and Ireland
    2- Germany
    3- France
    4- Spain
    5- Italy
    6- Rest Of World

If you have selected the wrong region, you should first remove 1 battery, press any IR key, change switch, re-insert battery (you should see 2 blinks)
Once the region is set, you can start setting up the codes for your devices.

  • How can I program a missing function onto my One For All remote?

You can use the learning function of the Simple 6410, by following the instructions in the manual, which can be found in the manual tab above.

  • How can I set up a device if I don't have/know the code?

You can use the learning function of the Simple 6410, by following the instructions in the manual, which can be found in the manual tab above.

  • Why doesn't the learning work?

A long blink indicates that the Simple 6410 failed to learn the signal from the original remote. There could be a number of reasons for this.

Firstly, check the original remote is working correctly.
Next, make sure you are not performing the learning procedure under bright lighting or in bright sunlight as this can interfere.
Also ensure that the two remotes are approximately 2 to 3 cm apart, and that the transmitting end of the original remote is facing the remote. Sometimes holding the key on the original remote down for slightly longer may help, and conversely sometimes quickly pressing and releasing the key on the original works better.

Finally if the batteries in your remote are low, this could cause the unit to exit the programming mode. Try with some new batteries if available.

  • How do I delete a learned function?

If you would like to delete a learned function on your Simple 6410 that you no longer require, please read the delete learning section in the manual, which can be found in the manual tab above.

  • How can I tune in my channels?

The Simlpe 6410 does not have its own way of tuning in the channels. This depends entirely on how the tuning was done with the original remote. You should find instructions on how to do the tuning in your TV user manual.

If you no longer have the user manual, nor the original remote, and you do not know exactly how the tuning was done, please contact the TV manufacturer for assistance. Quote your TV model number and either ask them to replace the manual, or ask them to tell you, step by step, how you would tune the TV stations when using the original remote control.

If you require special functions for tuning the channels, you can contact our Customer Support Team by clicking the link below. We will need to know how these keys were labeled (i.e., name, symbol, color, etc…) on the original TV remote control.
